Subzero 700 Freezer temperature problems

We just purchased a property that has a SubZero model 700 freezer which has been running all the time and throwing an error code EC40 (excessive compressor run) .

Additionally, we’ve noticed that the freezer temperature is very slow to recover after a door opening (i.e. will only go down 3-5 degrees per hour) and will not cool to below 5 degrees F (even if the set point is at 0 or -5)

I have vacuumed out the condenser and cleared the error code (but it came back).

I took a look at the area around the compressor with a flashlight and noticed there was ice forming on a horizontal line coming out of the compressor.

Also, FWIW the top of the compressor, when running, feels barely warmer than ambient. With the freezer off, the top of the compressor feels significantly colder than ambient.

The prior owner told us the compressor was replaced about a year ago, and I noticed the compressor has what looks like two capped schrader type valves on it.

Was curious if anyone has come across a problem like this and what it ended up being? Low refrigerant maybe?

Sub Zero has told me the unit is still under a sealed system parts warranty, but labor won’t be covered and I’m wondering how much a typical sealed system repair costs (labor only).

Thanks!

Haier- HA10TG31SB – fan running but not cold

So it all started when my wife changed the freeze setting to coldest (I believe it was still cold, she would of noticed if it was hot). Now it’s just warm air flowing. I can hear a clicking sound from the back of fridge, and I will post to YouTube to show. I am not tech savvy with electrical things like this but can follow directions well.

Honestly not sure if it’s under warranty anymore, but I don’t have proof of purchase and I used a gift card that I don’t have record of anymore.

Can someone plz help me out!?

Green Wire Stuck In Evap Fan !!!

There’s a dangling green wire that was stuck in my evap fan causing it to jam up and not spin. This fridge is brand new but would not get too cold (fridge & freezer). I pulled the evaporator panel off and freed up the green wire. My fan now spins freely, hopefully this will cool down the fridge.

My question is what should I do with this dangling green wire? It looks like it should be connecting to something…

Thanks.

B26FT80SNS What temp should my fridge be? Set to 35; inside it is 41-42 or even 43.

I have two decent digital thermometers from Thermoworks on different shelves.

At night, or morning, when the fridge is first open, they’ll show somewhere in the low to mid forties.

With the fridge having been set to 35 for weeks.

I know 41 is the danger zone for food.

What should I expect the interior temp to be when the fridge is set to 35?

I got rid of a Samsung that was too noisy. Now this Bosch doesn’t seem to cool enough.
